STEP 16 - SOOTHE YOUR THROAT

Now that we have such a great list of Essential Oils to help soothe throats, here are a few ways to use them to relieve any discomfort you may experience.

DRINK OF RELIEF RECIPE

• 1 c. Warm Water

• 1 tbsp. Raw Honey

• 1 tbsp. Vinegar

• 1 Toothpick Swirl Cinnamon Bark

• 1 Drop Ginger or Lemon

Combine and sip until gone. To use a toothpick swirl, dip a toothpick into your Essential Oilbottle, and then swirl toothpick in your warm water.

THROAT COMFORT SPRAY RECIPE

• 2 oz. Glass Spray Bottle

• 1 tbsp. Vodka (can be omitted, if desired)

• 10 Drops Protective Blend

• 5 Drops Lemon

• 5 Drops Peppermint

Add the vodka to the spray bottle and then add the Essential Oils. Fill remainder of bottle with water. Shake well and spray back of throat. (Shake before each use).

THROAT GARGLE RECIPE

• 1 Drop Lemon

• 1 Drop Protective Blend

• 1 Drop Melaleuca

Combine ingredients in 4 oz. of water and gargle. These oils are safe taken internally, so you can swallow or spit after gargling.
